As the transit Visas were not forthcomig in Cairo, the cheapest tourist Visas were applied for.  These were 4 day visas so they entered Libya on April 25th, having left Cairo on April 24th and spending the night just west of Sidi Barani, Egypt.

On Saturday 26th April, they wild camped on the coast near Marsga al Burayqah, and by  Monday 28th April they were in Tunisia.  A long way in a very short time.
