The trio (Simon Hannah and Betty) left Kisumu early and  by 10.30 were through Kericho, where there had been trouble the previous day. 3 hours later they were through Nakuru, and heading for Nairobi.

Evidence of the troubles was seen in the form of road blocks that had been pushed to the side of the road, damaged and burnt buildings,   but they were  not impeded on their journey.

They were in Nairobi that night at a Mission  by Nairobi National Park and have met up with the Swiss friends who will travel through to Egypt with them.
